Colleen Bachman - Owner & Administrator

Deer Run Rehabilitation opened its doors in 1998 for a family member who suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Their Mission has always been to ensure that each individual receives the care, respect and dignity they deserve. Colleen Bachman has been the administrator for over seven years. With compassion and dedication, Colleen and the rest of the DRR Team strive to help each individual reach their maximum rehabilitation potential.

Janet Allen - RN, BSN, CLNC

Graduate of Sault College of Applied Arts and Science with diploma in nursing (RN) and Lake Superior University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Janet began her career in medical surgical nursing at the Toronto General Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. She continued her career specializing in Intensive Care and then Emergency Room nursing at Munson Medical Center for over 10 years combined experience in these areas. Janet went on to manage and supervise over 100 staff people at a home health care agency specializing in in home patient care. This role involved budgeting, negotiations, teaching and patient assessments in addition to management of the entire staff. During this time, she was also successful in launching a case management business, GBS Care, Inc. and worked for third party administrators in Michigan and Texas managing bill reviews, patient follow-up and negotiations with various health care providers.

Janet joined the team at Deer Run Rehabilitation over 3 years ago as Director of Nursing.

Janet is an active member of the Health Care Association of Michigan (HCAM) and the Infusion Nurses Association.

Darlene Letts - Office Manager

Meet Our Office Manager Darlene. She is the newest member to the Deer Run Rehabilitation team! She brings with her to Deer Run over 23 years of office experience.

Vena Schreck - Staffing Coordinator

Vena has 23 years working with Direct care staff. She is responsible for implementing a great resident and building safety program along with an employee training program.

Joshua Koch - Safety Coordinator

Joshua has over 7 years working with Direct care staff. He is responsible for implementing and training on safety in the workplace and on the grounds.
